Indoor Cycling

Indoor Cycling:  Challenge yourself as little or as much as you want during every indoor cycling class – you control the intensity.  Your instructor will guide you up hills and across flat terrain, take you through speed drills, and inspire you to pedal stronger.  There are 13 Schwinn AC bikes with consules available for each class.  You are welcome to either wear cycling shoes (clip-in) or regular tennis shoes. There are a limited number of cushioned seat covers available.

All instructors are knowledgeable, safe and effective teachers. You will find the music, drills or style different in each class but the instruction is the same Schwinn-based instruction.

Tips for a great class:

  • Wear cycling or athletic shoes that you save specifically for indoor workouts
  • Bring water!
  • Layer your shirts
  • Wear cycling or athletic pants/shorts
  • Arrive at least five minutes before the class starts to set up your bike.

Intro to Cycling: If you’ve never taken an indoor cycling class before, this class will put you at ease.  Your instructor will guide you through all the steps – how to set up your bike,  how to interpret the cues you’ll hear during class, and introduce you to different “zones” of effort.  Intro to Cycling classes also include an abbreviated ride.  Taking an Intro to Cycling class will make your first full Indoor Cycling class a breeze!
